As the spiritual leader of his family he loved serving the Lord and was an active member of Greenwood Baptist Church where he was a deacon.
His family was the joy of his life. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 65 years, Irene Corbett Rackley. His love for his family was evident to all who knew him.
