VALDOSTA —
Albert Albritton Jr., 53, of Lawrenceville, Ga., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Albritton, Sr. and Ruby Lee Hollis Albritton; son, Brian Albritton; and sister, Linda Proctor.
He is survived by his spouse, Magdalena Albritton of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughter, Barbara Spicer of Atlanta; step-sons, Demetrius Towns of Atlanta, and Aaron Cole of Lawrenceville, Ga.; sisters, Ruby H. Braswell and Denise Albritton, both of Quitman, Mary Johnson, and Alma Albritton, both of Jasper, Fla.; brothers, Asby Albritton of Lawrenceville, Ga., Major Albritton of Quitman, Eddie Albert Albritton of Jasper, Fla.; grandsons, Zachary Dakota White and John-Tavious Towns. A host of nieces, nephews, couisins and extended family members also survive.
A service celebrating the life of Albert Albritton Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Another service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Bethel AME Church 1203 S. Court St., Quitman, GA 31643 with his remains to lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow in North End Cemetery in Quitman, Ga.
