Frances L. Howell, 74, of Valrico, Fla. and formerly of Valdosta died on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born on June 17, 1938 in Jennings, Fla. to the late Leonard and Jimmie Collins Hall. She had been a member of the Valdosta Garden Club. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brandon, Fla.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Ann and David Spencer of Tampa, Fla.; three sons and a daughter-in-law, William Jeffery Howell of Atlanta, David Robert Howell of Panama City, Fla., and Jonathan James and Kimberly Howell of Valdosta; grandchildren, Holley Frances Sorrells, Roger Allen Howell, Nicole Howell, Jonathan Thomas Howell, Tyler Dalton Howell and Brittany Lauren Spencer; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William (Bill) Howell, a grandson, Mark William Howell and eight brothers and sisters.
A graveside service for Frances L. Howell will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Hale Bishop officiating.
