VALDOSTA —
Kenton Winston “Kent” Carter, 61, of West Berrien, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Hillsborough County, Fla., to the late Leroy R. Carter and the late May Eighth McClellan. He was a retired sales manager with Master Craft Tifton Plant and member of the Brookfield Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendra Marlene Carter, who died in 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Marlene Ellis Carter of West Berrien; daughter, Karla (Daniel) Mallard of West Berrien; son, Kenyon (Christine) Carter of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Kason.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
