What We Think: Get A Taste Of Home

The Valdosta Daily Times

VALDOSTA — If you’ve never attended the Taste of Home Cooking School, well, then, you don’t know what you’ve been missing.

Fortunately, if you’ve never been to one of these fantastic demonstrations of cooking tips, great food, recipes and fantastic giveaways, you’re in luck.

The Valdosta Daily Times, Publix and World Hi-Fi Video and Appliance are proud to present the Taste of Home Cooking School once again this week.

On Tuesday evening, a professional Taste of Home chef will create nearly a dozen mouth-watering recipes, from entrees to sides to desserts. Lucky winners will get the chance to take these creations home with them.

Throughout the evening, area businesses provide items to be given away to selected winners. Light hors d’oeuvers will be provided by Ahh ... David.

Audience members can also help feed the region’s hungry. Bringing a canned-food item for America’s Second Harvest of South Georgia enters participants for a chance at special door prize.

It’s a full evening that can fill minds with new ways to fill families’ bellies.
