Berrien Relay for Life: It would be glad to include the ranter in our survey that will be sent out concerning the Berrien Relay for Life 2012. Obviously you were against it being around the square and should have attended the city council meetings when it was approved to have your voice heard. Our Relay raised $10,000 over our goal this year, so I would consider it a success.
You people in Berrien County are always squabbling. First the schools are not right, now you even pick on the Relay for Life. Is anybody happy in that county?
The Obama Department of Labor will be contacting all you farmers and ranchers soon to tell you what your children will be allowed to do while working on the family farm or ranch. They have put together 85 pages of regulations for your family. What will they attack next? Another attack on your freedoms, by the Democrats!
I am sick and tired of everyone saying that increasing prices of gas prices, food, and every other essential is greed. It's fair for them to increase any and every necessity there is. The U.S. citizens are gutless to change those in charge (politicians), so I would do the same thing to the weak. I'm in line for my handouts, you better hurry, the line is getting longer.
It sure is sad not seeing that airplane at Woodrow Wilson Drive and Ashley Street. I know it had to go to a better place, but hopefully something will be put there to support Moody AFB to let them know the community is thinking about them.

Thank you to Victoria at Winn-Dixie in Lake Park for being honest. I left my cash back in the automatic check out. She found it, and turned it in. Great employee. Keep her Winn-Dixie.

I am a student at Valdosta State University, I pay thousands of dollars in tuition, but I am not allowed to use the Student Recreation Center because I am not taking summer classes. I was told that I have to pay $45 to use the Rec Center during the summer. As if I don't pay enough already... Utterly ridiculous.

Truly embarrassing that our community euthanizes 12 animals daily. Our citizenry hasn’t progressed to understand responsibility. The end result in these horrible economic times is the ongoing suffering of animals. Other locales nearby have solved this problem; mandatory spay/neuter and breeding licenses are needed to stop this scourge. Let’s get serious, please!

I think what the County Commissioners are doing to Deep South Sanitation is outrageous and I think the citizens of Lowndes County should remember this during the next election. They are giving away freedom of choice. This man had this trash collection before Advanced.

The City of Valdosta needs another cable company! Competition is a great thing.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I'm quite pleased with Advanced Disposal. I'm paying less than I paid for service with Veolia, the service is reliable and they offer a large recycling bin. I don't understand what's "socialist" about offering county residents affordable, reliable service.

Closing the trash drop off was a big mistake. I live in Stone Creek so now I can’t put anything beside the street, now I have to haul it to the landfill and pay by weight. I had to pay $15, then I have to pay the trash pick up monthly. Something is wrong in this picture. I have a lot of yard waste, so now I have to take it to the landfill every time I clean yards.

I live in Brooks County. A while back, a limb fell at the edge of my yard. I called the road department asking to remove it. I was told they could not help because it was on private property. Later driving down Johnson Short Road, I saw the road department removing limbs from a yard. I have found out the limbs were on private property.

Do people in Valdosta not understand that when you lag behind at a green light there are people behind you that will not make the green light due to your inconsideration?

Mosquitoes in the city are growing fast. But sanitation and cable bills in so-called "Metro Valdosta" are growing even faster!
