VALDOSTA —
The Office of Career Services will host its Spring Career Expo on Tuesday, March 26. This event will be held at Valdosta State University in the University Center Magnolia Room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Employers from a variety of corporate and government industries will be on hand to discuss employment opportunities for students and alumni. A number of graduate and professional schools are also registered to attend. Students from all majors are invited to participate and encouraged to arrive on time, dress professionally, and bring extra copies of their resumes.
A list of employers and graduate schools participating in the career expo will be available two weeks prior to the event on the career services website, www.valdosta.edu/career, or can be picked up from the career services office, Powell Hall-West, second floor.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the resume walk-in service offered by career services for some quick feedback on their resumes. Job Search and Successful Interviewing seminars are also being offered throughout the semester to help students prepare.
