Parents in the Brooks County School system have an opportunity to receive resourceful tools and information by attending Parent Information Night. The following days and times are as follows: Brooks County Middle School, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m.; Quitman Elementary School, Aug. 27 at 5:30 p.m.; North Brooks Elementary, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. and Brooks County High School, Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m. Parents who have questions or concerns should call their child’s school for more information.

The National Society of High School Scholars announced that Brooks County High School student, Kyanna Jackson from Morven has been selected for membership.

Quitman Elementary holds field day
Students at Quitman Elementary participated in many events during the school's field day on March 29. The Brooks County High School Student Leadership team participated and assisted students in learning the various techniques of the games that were held.

Three students received $500 scholarships for outstanding leadership at the Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) State Leadership Conference held recently at The Classic Center.
