VALDOSTA — Mishma Farsi and Mehvish Durrani, upcoming freshmen at Lowndes High School, were named the 2012 Region Stock Market Games Winners for Lowndes County. With only 10 weeks to choose their stocks and make investments, these students finished with a portfolio of over $120,000. The project was completed during their 8th grade year at Hahira Middle School. They are pictured with State Superintendent Dr. John Barge at the annual Stock Market Games luncheon held in Atlanta.
