- — Ashley Gruno’s 8th grade ELA (English Language Arts) classes are participating in the Valdosta State University Blazer Buddy pen pal program. Working with Dr. Gina Doepker and the Sullivan Literacy Center, the students are matched with Valdosta State students, and the pairs send letters back and forth.
