Valdosta football to be featured on NBC

VALDOSTA — The Valdosta High Wildcats will be highlighted in a two-part feature during the NBC Sunday Night Halftime Show during the network’s weekly NFL broadcast.

Toyota is sending two college students, Jon and J.J., around the country to find the high schools with the craziest traditions. The show, “Jon and J.J.: The Line of Scrimmage,” will feature two pieces from each of the seven high schools they visit along the way.

One feature will focus on the current team and an important game during the season, while the other will focus on the traditions of the program. All features that air on NBC will also be able to be viewed at www.toyota.com/football.

The Wildcats will first be featured on the Sunday, Oct. 29, broadcast with a play of the game from their Oct. 13 game against the Warner Robins Demons. The second feature, which will air on Sunday, Nov. 5, will delve into the traditions of the Wildcats program.

Be sure to tune in to the NBC Sunday Night Halftime Show on these two weekends to see the Valdosta Wildcats featured to the nation.
