Author Drew Jubera will be in town Friday and Saturday, signing copies of his book on Valdosta football, “Must Win” — and, of course, watching the Winnersville Classic.
Jubera will be signing copies of the book before the Valdosta-Lowndes game on Friday night. He will be seated outside the Wildcat Museum at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium from the time the gates open until shortly before kickoff.
Jubera will also be signing books at Books A Million in Valdosta on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.
“Must Win” is a book about Valdosta High’s 2010 football season. Jubera followed the team throughout the season, a year in which first-year head coach Rance Gillespie led the Wildcats to an 11-2 record and an appearance in the state quarterfinals.
