VALDOSTA —
The Highland Christian School track and field team had several competitors place at the recent GISA state track meet.
Highland Christian students winning times and places were:
Wesley Robinson finished eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.19 seconds.
In the 200-meter dash, Taylor Sanders placed seventh with a time of 31.66.
Megan Maruyama placed 2nd in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:06.43.
In the 1600-meter race, Amrie Lisse placed seventh with a time of 6:50.41, while Ryan Dobson placed third witha time of 5:33.08.
Highland Christian’s 4x400-meter relay team of Jamar Sanders, Zach Lake, Wesley Robinson, and Jaylen Hiller placed seventh with a time of 4:02.98.
Zack Lake placed ninth in the long jump.
