VALDOSTA —
In the waning minutes of Saturday night's boys basketball game between crosstown rival Lowndes and Valdosta, a female Valdosta cheerleader fell to the ground, according to witnesses at the scene.
The cheerleader, whose identity was unknown at press time Saturday, laid on the ground until medical personnel could attend to her.
Ambulance and EMT services were dispatched and the cheerleader was placed into the back of the ambulance, witnesses said.
Witnesses said the cheerleader was moving and speaking in the back of the ambulance.
