Lowndes’ boys soccer team blanked Worth County 4-0 on Wednesday at Martin Stadium.
Zach Temples scored two goals for the Vikings, and Gustavo Gonzales and Billy Hunt had one goal apiece.
The Vikings (2-2) will start region play on Friday, when they host Camden County.
Lowndes girls hammer Worth County, 10-0
VALDOSTA — The Lowndes girls soccer team pounded Worth County 10-0 on Wednesday at Martin Stadium.
Hannah Jo Isaacson, Ashley Miller and Nyah Grant scored two goals apiece for Lowndes. Katie Willis, Haylee Gordon, Emilie Tessier and Liz Lott also scored for the Vikettes.
Lowndes will begin region play this Friday at Martin Stadium, when they face Camden County.
Berrien routs Worth
NASHVILLE — Berrien’s baseball team beat Worth County 11-1 on Wednesday.
Berrien’s Logan Balkcom went 2 for 3 at the plate with three RBIs and a run. Travis Branham had a two-run single. Devonte Bass drove in two runs. Shawn Witt scored three runs.
Dalton McMillan was the winning pitcher.
Berrien will host Pierce County today at 5:30 p.m.
