NASHVILLE — The Brooks County football team closed out its first-ever perfect regular season with a dominating 43-14 win over the Berrien Rebels Friday night at Raymond Jones Stadium in Nashville. The Trojans, winners of Region 1-AA, will host the Macon County Bulldogs Friday night in the first round of the Class AA state playoffs. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. from Quitman's Veterans Stadium.

Gillespie, McPherson pleased with spring practices
