ATLANTA — Several students from Performance Martial Arts Academy placed at the recent Super Regionals tournament in Atlanta.
In the fourth- and fifth-degree black belt division, Mark Webb placed first in weapons, third in forms and third in sparring.
In the second- and third-degree black belt division, Jennifer Powell placed first in weapons, second in forms and third in sparring. Mizanni Matthews finished third in weapons and sparring.
In the first-degree black belt division, Gary Matthews placed second in sparring, while Ryan Spaulding was third in weapons.
In the color belt division, Glen Sibley placed first in weapons, second in forms and third in sparring. Kameron Anderson placed first in sparring and second in forms and weapons. Tori Sibley placed second in forms and third in weapons. Hannah Hendrix placed second in sparring. Paige Giddens placed fourth in weapons and sparring. Kyle Turner placed first in forms and second in weapons. Marge Sprott placed second in sparring and third in forms.
The American Taekwondo Association sponsored the event, which drew approximately 1,000 competitors from across the U.S.
