SNELLVILLE, Ga. —
Authorities say they have found the body of a kayaker on Norris Lake near Snellville who has been missing since last weekend.
Authorities say the 46-year-old man fell out of the kayak shortly after noon on Saturday. Divers from Gwinnett and Forsyth counties had been searching for the man since Saturday afternoon.
Gwinnett County Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said firefighters pulled the man’s body from the lake shortly after 3 p.m. Monday.
Rutledge said the man’s name is being withheld until authorities can positively identify him.
