Remains missing from Ga. cemetery

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Police in coastal Georgia say a person’s remains are missing from a local cemetery.

Julian Miller, of the Savannah-Chatham County Metropolitan Police Department, said Tuesday that police were investigating a break in at a Hillcrest Cemetery mausoleum and a person’s remains were missing.

Information on the identity of the remains was not immediately available. It was not immediately clear when the break in took place.
