Two arrested in Lowndes meth case

VALDOSTA — Deputies serving an arrest warrant for a probation violation Thursday discovered what appeared to be a methamphetamine lab, according to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.

And instead of arresting the one suspect named in the initial probation warrant, deputies arrested him and a second suspect on manufacturing meth charges.

Michael Lee Terry, 30, of Valdosta is charged with violation of probation, felony manufacturing of methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor obstruction of an officer , according to the sheriff’s office. Dorothy Nicole Herndon, 27, of Valdosta is charged with felony manufacturing of methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor obstruction of an officer, authorities reported.

Both suspects were transported to the Lowndes County Jail for arraignment in magistrate court.
