Warning for travelers: roads closed in north Florida

VALDOSTA — As Tropical Storm Debby continues to produce tremendous amounts of rainfall, with some areas already seeing 10, 15 and even 20 inches from Valdosta south into Florida, a number of road closures are being reported. According to the Florida Highway Patrol's website, portions of Interstate 10, Interstate 75, and a dozen or more local roads are closed or have active advisories and warnings.

For travelers and residents of north Florida, visit http://www.flhsmv.gov/fhp/traffic/crs_h808.htm for the most up to date road condition and closure information. The Times will continue to update our website throughout the day.
