Lowndes County Board of Education canceled school countywide for today, citing weather conditions.
Berrien County Board of Education canceled school countywide today, citing heavy rains and poor road conditions.
Brooks County Board of Education canceled classes for today, citing inclement weather.
Clinch County Board of Education closed schools for students today, with staff asked to report at 9 a.m. if able.
Cook County Board of Education has closed schools today, based on forecast weather conditions and out of precaution for transportation.
Lanier County Board of Education has canceled classes for all students today, but adult school staff should report if able.
Wiregrass Georgia Technical College canceled its Monday evening classes and all of its classes scheduled for today. Wiregrass day staff and faculty are to report to work if able to travel safely.
Remaining open
As of press time Monday night, both Valdosta State University and Valdosta City Schools will stay open today.
