    He finished his Lowndes coaching career with 186 wins and 56 losses — a winning percentage of .768. He led the Vikettes to four Region 1 championships, most recently in 2012.

    The men’s basketball season came to an end in dramatic fashion Sunday evening when the Blazers lost a heartbreaker to Christian Brothers in the Gulf South Conference championship game.
    The women’s came to an end later in the night, when the Lady Blazers failed to receive a bid to the NCAA South Region tournament.
