VALDOSTA — The three-day trial of a man accused of participating in the Aug. 25 robbery of the Commercial Banking Company branch in Remerton wrapped up Wednesday in federal court in Macon with the jury unable to reach a verdict.

A federal grand jury indicted Daniel Mitchell, 23, along with four others on April 5 in connection with the robbery. The other four had entered guilty pleas and accused Mitchell of participating in the robbery with them.

The four others are Anthony Caesar, Trista Montgomery, Travis Johnson and Danetia Clark, all in their early 20s.
