Madison scores late, defeats VHS, 6-3

In Valdosta, Valdosta High lost 6-3 to Madison County (Fla.) Tuesday in a high school baseball game.
With the score 3-3 in the sixth, a dropped fly ball allowed Madison to score the go-ahead run.
Casey Tuten was the winning pitcher for Madison, striking out nine batters and allowing just two hits.
Valdosta pitchers Bond Crosby and Austin Bennett combined to allow Madison just two earned runs. Bennett and B.J. Southers had VHS’ two hits.
Valdosta travels to Columbia (Fla.) next Tuesday.
