Kenneth E. Coombs, 69, of Hahira, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Adel. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship Cemetery in Cecil. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. — Martin McLane Funeral Home of Hahira.

Robert Lamar Dasher, 58, of Virginia Beach, Va., died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, in Virginia Beach. Arrangements for local services are incomplete and will be announced by the Carson McLane Funeral Home.

Annette Haddock Williams, 62, passed away at South Georgia Medical Center on Nov. 6, 2002. She resided at 312 Virginia Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Francis Lake A.M.E. Church in Lake Park. The Rev. Kenneth J. Murphy will officiate. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Services will be held at 3 p.m. — Stevens Funeral Home
James Wesley Anderson
James Wesley Anderson, 33, of Dasher, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, after a long illness. Born in Hahira on June 4, 1969, he was the son of John A. Jr., and Wanell McGill Anderson. He was a mechanic for Rogers and Son Logging. Survivors include one son, John Wesley Anderson of Valdosta; his parents, John and Wanell Anderson of Dasher; one sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Brett Jenkins of Valdosta; one brother, Bobby A. Anderson of Valdosta, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor. The Rev. Jay Watkins will officiate. Annie Gibson Gothard
Annie Laura Gibson Gothard, 95, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002. A native of Thomas County, where she had lived most of her life, Gothard was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomasville and a member of the Briarcliff Garden Club. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Mary Lilla Aldridge Gibson and was married to the late Cary Arthur Gothard. Gothard was preceded in death by a grandchild, William James “Rocky” Harris Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara G. Wood of Snellnville, Doris G. Mountjoy of McRae, and Carianne G. Tippett of Vidalia; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Eric Dwayne McCoggle, 29, 3558 Meadowdale Drive, passed this life Nov. 7, 2002, at the Smith-Northview Hospital. McCoggle was born April 24, 1973, in Lowndes County to Oscar McCoggle Jr. and Lena Anderson McCoggle. He was married to Kimberly Bryant McCoggle. He was employed by the Smith-Northview Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Kimberly S. McCoggle; two beautiful children, Darius McCoggle and Brittany McCoggle; his mother, Lena McCoggle; one sister, Erica McCoggle; two brothers, Troy McCoggle and Chris McCoggle; his grandfather, Oscar McCoggle Sr.; his mother-in-law, Loraine Bryant and father-in-law, Larry G. Bryant; one brother-in-law, Larry Bryant, Jr.; 10 aunts, Elnora Bartee (Jerry), Diane Smalls (Fred), Debra Harris (Don), Willie Mae Phelps, Geraldine Woodfaulk (Ulysses), Mary Anderson (James), Marjorie Holmes, Leola Arnold (Darnell), Henretta McCoggle and Frances McCoggle; eight uncles, John McCoggle, Edward Anderson (Cynthia), Jimmy Anderson (Sherri), Samuel Phelps (Serena), Lloyd Phelps, Willie T. Phelps Jr., Willie C. P
helps and Arthur James Johnson; five great aunts, one great-great aunt, two great uncles, one nephew and a host of other relatives and loving friends. A group of special friends includes a wonderful staff at the Smith-Northview Hospital. McCoggle was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony McCoggle and Oscar McCoggle III. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of North Forrest Street. Brother S.M. Washington will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gary Cemetery.
