Basic freedom
“The Libertarian Party is the only one today that is closest, in principles and platform, to the original freedom that the American founding fathers enjoyed in 1788.”
Dollar darling
“I’d like to send a special thanks out to Ashley at Dollar Discount she is a very sweet person and does a great job… Keep up the great work!”
So long, John
“Goodbye Rocker. Hello pennant.”
Unsightly station
“When are the county commissioners of Lowndes County going to wise up and remove that unsightly waste station off Highway 129 north? Most other counties have those type of stations on rural county roads, NOT Lowndes. Just wait and see what happens when the road expansion gets there!”
Pricey water
“Gee, thanks City of Valdosta, now we get to pay even more for dirty water.”
Enforce limits
“I double-dog dare Ashley Paulk and the Lowndes County Sheriff Department and the Georgia State Patrol Post 31 to enforce the work area speed limits of 45 mph in the work from Perimeter Road to north of Moody Field on Bemiss Road with the widening project.”
Caring attitude
“All cheers go to Dr. Moss in the emergency room. He was so sweet caring for my niece when she was sick with a rash and bad earache. All doctors should pattern themselves after Dr. Moss with his good bedside manners and kindness when we were in need. Thanks again Dr. Moss.”
Racial rhetoric
“If shutting the fountain off in Albany was racially motivated, then was changing the flag racially motivated?”
Ugliest flag
“King Roy and his boys did give us a new flag and I heard on the radio that they did a survey on the state flags and Georgia’s state flag was voted the ugliest in existence. Good job Roy. Once again you have scored for the citizens.”
Senseless idea
“To the person who feels we should adopt the measure of chopping fingers for thieves, are you serious? The only true methods of not filling up our prisons are to teach morality in the homes. Instead of filling our prisons, we will be filling up our streets with people who are unable to work because we have chopped important parts of our bodies that is most important for work, their hands. With those people who who are guilty of simple stupidity, should we remove their heads? If so he should not go buy a hat in the near future.”
Constant crowing
“Roosters do not belong on Georgia Avenue either, especially the ones that start at 4 a.m. and continue all day long.”
Cheap gas
“If anybody is going east, wait until you get to Waycross to buy your gas. All major brands are $1.27 a gallon. You can even get independent prices at $1.23 a gallon. Why can’t Lowndes County enjoy these prices?”
