Robert H. Folsom
VALDOSTA — Robert H. Folsom, 69, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Shands in Gainesville, Fla. Born on Jan. 2, 1936, in Valdosta, he was the son of the late Hubert A. and Iva Cribbs Folsom. He retired from PCA as a chemical specialist and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Folsom is survived by his wife, Margueritha Folsom of Valdosta; one son, Ken Folsom of Valdosta; one daughter, Robin Folsom of Valdosta; one granddaughter, Crystel Folsom; one grandson, Ed Folsom; two brothers, Harley E. Folsom and David E. Folsom, both of Florida. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Lamar Folsom.
Funeral services for Robert H. Folsom will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2005, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Virginia Tyler Lewis
HAHIRA — Virginia Tyler Lewis, 79, of Hahira died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Smith Northview Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 21, 1925, in Hahira to the late Gordon C. and Minnie Lee Weldon Tyler. Mrs. Lewis and her husband owned and operated Lewis Grocery Store in Hahira for several years and was a member of the Hahira First Baptist Church. She loved life, her family and fishing.
Survivors include a daughter, Jerri Rollins Russ of Hahira; a son, Mike Lewis of Hahira; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kim Titone, Alan Clendenin, Christie and John Gombar, Ray and Coleen Lewis; 11 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brianna, Brynn, Trey, Austin, Ashley, John, Shyanne, Seanna, Hunter and Skyler; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Verna Glass, Fron Johnson and Sylvia and James Parker, all of Hahira; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lewis; and a brother, Dan Tyler.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2005, in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

Richard Thomas (R.T.) Lineberger
VALDOSTA — Richard Thomas (R.T.) Lineberger, 91, lifelong resident of Valdosta, passed away on May 5, 2005, at his home. Born in Lowndes County on Feb. 23, 1914, the son of the late Eddie Joshua and Lena Chason Lineberger, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was a member of Airport Church of Christ and was a retired self-employed carpenter. Mr. Lineberger received much joy from growing and selling Christmas trees and making and selling his wood working crafts.
Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Ubie Beck Lineberger; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Mackey Allen of Mineral Wells, Texas, Carol and Chris Prine of Valdosta; grandchildren, Geri Burgess of Locust Grove, Ga., Christy and Herb Hamilton of Valdosta; a great-grandchild, Sammye Caroline Hamilton; sister, Pearl Collins of Valdosta; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Daisy Copeland of Valdosta, Lucy and Hilton Allen of Valdosta, June and Thomas Simpson of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2005, at the Carson McLane Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Keith Olbricht of Airport Church of Christ and John Klimko of Central Church of Christ will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Dasher Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. this evening. Eloise Cowart Webb Nichols
VALDOSTA — Eloise Cowart Webb Nichols, 74, of Valdosta, died on Friday, May 6, 2005, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman after a lengthy illness. Born on March 12, 1931, in Hahira, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna Lou Mathis Cowart. Mrs. Nichols was a long-time employee of Langdale Ford, having retired in the late 90s and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Delma Nichols of Valdosta; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Lisa Webb of Jacksonville, Fla., Jerry and Janet Webb of Thomasville; stepsons and their wives, Tony and Gail Nichols and Terry and Vicki Nichols all of Miami, Fla.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mack) Peace and Sharon Webb, all of Valdosta; Byron Webb and Tyler Webb both of Thomasville; Kristen Nichols, Michelle Nichols and Stacie Nichols, all of Miami, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred L. Cowart Jr. of Lakeland, Fla., William H. and Dianne Cowart of Tifton, David Cowart of Adel and Terrell and Deborah Cowart of Tifton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Cliff Smith of Tallahassee, Betty and Jim Harrell of Spartanburg, S.C.; Mary Ellen and Wendell Couger of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Byron O. Webb.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, May 7, 2005, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends prior to the service today from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Eucelle Coker Turner
VALDOSTA — Eucelle Coker Turner, 81, of Valdosta died Friday, May 6, 2005, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 11, 1923, in Sumter, S.C., to the late Henry J. and Ida Morris Coker and had lived in Valdosta most of her life. Mrs. Turner was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoying bowling.
Survivors include a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Mike and Brenda Allen of Lake Park, four great-grandchildren, Richard Allen, Michael Allen, Ethan Colvin and Blair Colvin; one sister, Rachel Lofton of Valdosta; special niece, Runette Van Ausdall of Twin Lakes; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George W. Allen; a grandson, Christopher Ray Allen; five brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Sunset Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
