Leona Johnson Posmanick
Leona Johnson Posmanick’ 74, of Naylor passed away Wednesday morning Nov. 30, 2005 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland after a brief illness. She was born in Lowndes County and had lived in Van Nuys, Calif. for over 50 years. She was an accountant before her retirement and a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 44 years Lawrence Posmanick.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Keith Faulkner’ Naylor; son and daughter-in-law, Maurice Filmore and Tammy Posmanick’ Troy, Ill.; six grandchildren, Keith Lawrence, Eric Edward, Keri Lee, Lindsey Marie, Shannon Shiloh, Benjamin James; and one great-grandchild, Isaac Russell
Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday Dec. 1, 2005 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be held in California at a later date.
