VALDOSTA — Several Department of Human Resource employees recently completed a 16-month course at Valdosta Technical College.

These state employees received technical certificates for successfully completing the Computer Applications Specialist course. The course, taught by Rej Joiner, covered Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.

The following state employees completed the training:

Nelda Ryan, district director of the Georgia Department of Labor

Barbara Evans, administrative assistant of the Georgia Department of Labor

Shauneen Moss, region XI resource coordinator with the Department of Family and Children Services

Jo Rita Canelon, director of Echols County Department of Family and Children Services

Bonnie Hart and Christina Herndon, family independence case managers II with Lanier County Department of Family and Children Services.
