VALDOSTA — Those people looking for a bargain may find one this weekend at The Valdosta Daily Times Yard Sale. Vendors from South Georgia and North Florida will bring their items to the Lowndes County Civic Center on Saturday for the indoor and outdoor yard sale that runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

More than 75 vendors will be present at the yard sale that will offer a combination of business and private party sales, said Melody Register, classified advertising manager for the Times.

“Vendors will have everything from crafts, floral arrangements, miscellaneous merchandise, tools, woodworking and lots more,” Register said.

Newspapers in Education will provide breakfast and lunch items at a concession stand as well.

Booths are still available for reservation at Saturday’s yard sale. The booth space is 12-by-12 with covered outdoor booths renting for $20 and indoor booths available for $25, Register said.

The deadline to reserve a booth is at 5 p.m. today. Those interested in reserving a booth should call 229-244-1880, ext. 299.
