104-year-old Fannie Duncan services to be held Friday

Fannie Lee Duncan born March 29, 1899 went home to be with her Heavenly Father, August 12, 2003.



Fannie was born in Fort White and lived in Branford until 1998 when she moved to Riverside House in Jacksonville.



Fannie was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Branford and taught Sunday School for 44 years. She loved the Lord and lived her life in His service.



Fannie is survived by her loving and devoted niece Eloise Duncan Gay (W.W. Bill), nephew Clyde Duncan (Frances), nieces Jeanette Duncan, Joanne Tomlinson (Tom), Martha Duncan, and many great, great great and great great great nieces and nephews.



Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Branford at 11 a.m., Friday morning. The Reverend Eddie Blalock and Reverend Bryan Jones will conduct the services. There will be special music as well as congregational singing. Fannie loved music and was a member of First Baptist Church c8



hoir for many, many years. Family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and Friday at First Baptist Church fellowship hall.



In lieu of flowers please make donations to the building fund of First Baptist Church in Branford.

Pallbearers include: J. W. Gay, R. D. Gay, Keith Duncan, Scott Duncan, Mark Duncan, Paul Jones, Brandon Gay, Chris Croft, Vernon Jones and Will Croft.



Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Branford.



Arrangements are under the care of Daniels Funeral Home.
