The Lafayette All-Star girls softball team (11-and 12-year-old) advanced to the Regional Tournament after winning the Little League Florida District 20 championship in Mayo July 14.

The All-Star team began their winning streak on July 11 as they competed in the district tournament held at the Mayo Community Recreation Complex on CR 400.



The girls won their championship title after successfully defeating area teams from Woodville, Fort Brayden and Northwest.



The District Champs traveled to Flomaton, Alabama to play Tri-County in the regionals on July 19 and 20.



Even though they suffered a loss at the regional level Lafayette County parents, friends and families are proud of their accomplishment in the district tournament and their valiant effort displayed on the field in Alabama.
