Erin Hall signs for Central Florida Community College

Yet another Suwannee High athlete has signed a college athletic scholarship. This has been a banner year at Suwannee High for athletics. Hall will be attending Central Florida Community College to play fast-pitch softball on scholarship. CFCC is in Ocala.
Hall was signed as an infielder and back-up pitcher. She was the starting pitcher for SHS Lady Dogs in 2002 and the back-up pitcher/third baseman this season 2003.
“I have played softball for eight years now,” Hall said. “This will be an exciting and rewarding experience to play at the collegiate level.”
As a senior, Hall batted .435 had a .610 on-base percentage and an .892 fielding percentage. She was named MVP for the 2003 Lady Bulldog softball team and also received the Best Offensive Player award.
“I would like to thank both my parents for pushing me to get better,” Hall said. “It’s because of them I am where I am today. I would also like to thank Jeff Smith and Jan Schenck for a great season this year and for working with me to receive this scholarship.”
