The fireworks at dusk on the 4th of July will go on as planned according to coordinator Gilbert Bernardo who has master minded them for the past several years.

Bernardo said, “the fireworks have come in and members of the Branford Volunteer Fire Department and myself got together on Monday night to make things ready.

Bernardo said there will be three salutes which will be the 15 minute warning, and then the big fireworks display will begin and be over in approximately twenty minutes.

Preceding the fireworks the National Anthem will be sung acappella by two members of the “Delivered” choral group.

All of this will take place at Hatch Memorial Park following the days activities at the Greenway on the banks of the Suwannee River.
