Lady Dog Volleyball wins one more

Suwannee Lady Dog volleyball is having one of their best seasons ever. Currently, they are 10-4 after winning another match against Madison.

The Lady Dogs took Madison in three straight games 25-16, 25-20 and 25-18. The JV also won, taking Madison’s JV in three games. The JV Lady Dogs lost their first game 16-25, then won two 25-14 and 15-4.



Leading the Lady Dogs in kills was Alex Camunas with seven kills, 1’2 service points, five of them aces and two assists.



Heather Benson had four kills, two service points and an amazing 24 assists. Benson sets the ball for the Suwannee net-girls to spike into a kill.



Stephanee Skipper, just up from JV this year, had six kills, six service points, three of them aces, and one assist.



Nereyda Pecina, Suwannee’s libero player, had nine assists.



Ashley Rose had four kills for Suwannee, eight service points, two of them aces and one assist.



Merlonda Owens had four kills, eight service points, six of them aces and one assist.



Kyla Serrano had one kill, five service points and four assists.



Danielle Smith had five kills and Lacy Smith had two service points.



Look for the Lady Dogs at home against Lafayette County in a double-header on Oct. 12. The JV play at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity Lady Dogs take the court at 5:30 p.m. Go Lady Dogs!
