Lady Dogs win last game of the regular season

The Lady Dogs were on a roll going into their recent road trip with nine straight victories. But they lost two on the road and looked to be heading into the district tournament down. But the Lady Dogs bounced back and defeated Lafayette on the road in three matches. They won the first match 25-11, won the second match 25-11 and won the third match 25-13. This makes the Lady Dogs 11-8 for the season.
The JV Lady Dogs have been on a roll as well. They’ve won their three road games ending with defeating Lafayette in three matches 25-20, 23-25 and 15-13.
Top player against Lafayette was Marcella Walker. Walker had an amazing 15 service points, eight kills, seven aces and two assists.
Individual stats
Kortney Cherry had three service points, nine kills, one assist and one dink.
Kyla Serrano had eight service points, two kills, four aces, three assists and two dinks.
Heather Benson had eight service points, one kill, five aces and 21 assists.
Lindsey Gaskins had four service points, three kills, four aces, three assists and two dinks.
Heather LeBlanc had seven service points and two aces.
Nereyda Pecina had three assists.
Merlonda Owens had three service points.
