Lafayette County Deputy Travis Boatright arrested Preston Odell Pittman, 39, P.O. Box 201, Mayo on Feb. 11 near the Hal W. Adams Bridge in Lafayette County.



According to Boatright’s report Preston was a passenger in the green Ford Explorer driven by his oldest son. Boatright said he stopped the vehicle after information was reported that Pittman had allegedly assaulted family members earlier in the day.



Pittman is being detained at the Lafayette County Detention Center charged with possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) and two counts of aggravated domestic assault. He is held on a $15,000 bond.
