Angela “Angie” Beaver
Angela “Angie” Beaver, 37, of Live Oak, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in the Big Bend Hospice House, Tallahassee, after a long illness. The Hamilton, Ontario, Canada native moved to Live Oak 14 year ago. She was a hairdresser at Cowlicks And Curls, Live Oak, for five years and was a teacher’s assistant at the Melody Christian Academy, Live Oak, for two years. Beaver was also a member of Melody Christian Center, Live Oak.
Survivors include: her husband, Craig M. Beaver, Live Oak; parents Max and Darlene Barth, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; two daughters, Amy Argetsinger, Lake City and Marla Higdon, Bradenton; one son, Samuel Beaver, Live Oak; one sister, Robyn Van Dezwagg, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; and two grandchildren, Amber Andrews and Gregory Argetsinger.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19, at Melody Christian Center, Live Oak with Pastor Frank Davis officiating.
Daniels Funeral Home of Live Oak is in charge of all arrangements.
William Matthew
William Matthew Marable Sr., 82, of Jasper, passed away Monday, June 14, 2004, at his home. The Hamilton County native and lifelong resident was a well-known building contractor and a member of First Baptist Church, Live Oak. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. Marable was preceded by his parents A.L. and Beulah Marable.
Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Edna Marable, Jasper; two sons, Matt Marable Jr. (Gayle) of Jasper and Richard Marable (Lynne) of Live Oak; one daughter, Delores Howell (Richard) of Jasper; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In an effort to abide by his wishes, there will be no formal visitation or service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Florida Baptist Children’s Home, 8415 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, FL 32317.
Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper was in charge of arrangements.
William H. Young
William H. Young, 65, of Live Oak, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at his home. He was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., retired after 20 years of military service and was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Live Oak.
Survivors include: his wife of 14 years, Patricia L. Young of Live Oak; one brother, Frederick Young of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Maryann Gaddy of Fork, S.C.; two sons, Phillip Young of San Diego, Calif. and Mark Young, U.S. Air Force, Georgia; one daughter, Denise Stolarik of Charlotte, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Elgin and Ryon Young.
