Carl Edward Williams

Carl Edward Williams, 68, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004 at his home following an extended illness. Carl was born in Jackson, Ohio on Sept. 29, 1935 to the late Edgar and Naomi Williams. He was a retired truck driver and veteran of the United States Army.



Survivors include his wife, Mary Williams, Jasper; three sons, David and Brian Williams of Springfield, Ohio and Robert Watterly, Jasper; three daughters, Carla Mollet, St. Petersburg, Rita Brewer, Jasper, and Vickie Murphy, Greenfield, Ohio; one brother, Thomas Milton Williams, California; five sisters, Martha Bell Homer, Alice Josephine Dyer and Estella Mae Kessler, all of Troy, Ohio, Rosa Lee Davis, Fairborne, Ohio and Patricia Ann Conley, St. Paris, Ohio; six grandchildren, Neoma Katherine Black, Tiffany Marie Mollett, Carl Edgar Brewer, Brandon Keith Brewer, Randall Lee and Brittany Lyn Murphy; three great grandchildren Alexis Black, Jonathan Black and Jordon Wadsworth.



Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 13 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with Rev. Edgar Wood officiating. Military honors were observed at the graveside.

Wylma B. White



Wylma B. White 82, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, April 16, 2004 at Gainesville V. A. Medical Center. Ms. White was born on May 10, 1921 in Ocala to the late Raymond and Theresa Blodgett. She was a former resident of Hamilton County where she served as Hamilton County Home Extension Agent for more than twenty years. Ms. White was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy.



Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Pam White of Jacksonville; one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Bill Barker of Clemmons, N. C.: eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 17 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in White Springs.
