Ella Mae Darling
Ella Mae Darling, 82, a resident of Live Oak, passed away August 12, 2004, in the Suwannee Health Care Center. She was a member of Sweet Hope Baptist Church and a beautician for many years in Live Oak.
Survivors include: her children, James Darling and Irene of Ft. Lauderdale, John Darling and Elaine of Live Oak, Gloria Presley and Henry of Live Oak, Diane Darling Morris and Mark, Rosalie Darling and Kenneth Darling; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; and many other close relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 21, in the Sweet Hope Baptist Church in Live Oak with the Rev. H. Boone, Pastor officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 20, in the Sweet Hope Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Rockcut Cemetery.

Margaret Horne
Margaret Horne, 63, of Live Oak, passed away Friday, August 13, 2004, in her son’s residence after a long illness. The McAlpin native lived in Live Oak all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her five step-daughters, Serena Creech, Madison, Gail Allen, High Springs, Becky Maupin, Tennessee, Beth Smith, North Carolina and Linda Sue Horne Barker, Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Allen, Rex and Joseph Horne, all of Live Oak; three step-sons, Tommy Joe Horne, Michigan, Albert Horne and Johnny Ray Horne, both of Live Oak; one sister, Charlene Hoffman, Tallahassee; one brother, Des Fennell Jr., McAlpin; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 16, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Gil Roser officiating. Interment followed in O’Brien Baptist Cemetery in O’Brien.
Daniels Funeral Home of Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.
Albert “Berry” Morris
Albert “Berry” Morris, 63, of Live Oak, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2004, in Shands at Live Oak Hospital after a short illness. The Maryland native moved to Live Oak from Virginia 12 years ago, was an electrical engineer and attended First Advent Christian Church, Live Oak.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sherryl Hill, Ijamsville, Md. and Faith McCoy, Palatka; one son, Kevin Morris, Live Oak; one sister, Betty Grace, Arlington, Va.; one brother, Mike Morris, Sanford; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private memorial services were held at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Live Oak.

Harold “Buck” Finley
Harold “Buck” Finley, 74, passed away early Sunday morning, August 15, 2004, at his home in Live Oak. He was born in Breckenridge County, Kentucky. Finley was a resident of Pinellas County for many years where he ran a construction company. He moved to Live Oak in 1984. Finley served in the U.S. Army. He loved hunting, fishing, playing pool and most of all he loved sitting around the fire pit telling stories. Finley was a great father and a faithful friend to all. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Finley was preceded in death by two siblings: Sally Richards, Illinois and Edward Finley, Kentucky.
Survivors include: companion Helen Nolting, Live Oak; four daughters, Debby (Dennis) Pawley, Live Oak, Paula (Mike) Horman, Largo, Nancy Armitage, St. Petersburg and Charron (Tim) Long of Massachusetts; one son, John (Shelby) Thomas, Live Oak; one step-son, Rusty (Diane) Thomas, Bell; two brothers, Paul Finley Jr. and companion Betty, Live Oak and Bobby (Jo) Finley, Argenta, Ill.; three sisters, Nancy (Floyd) Johnson, Ocala; Margaret (George) Hook, Louisville, Ky. and Catherine (Owen) Dykes, Louisville, Ky.; many nieces and nephews; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
ICS Cremation, Lake City was in charge of all arrangements.
