Lucille Marie Nesbitt
Lucille Marie Nesbitt, 83, died on Thursday, April 22, 2004, at her home in Jennings. Daughter of the late George W. And Dora Marie Cook Horn, she was born in Somerset Township, Ohio on March 30, 1921. Mrs. Nesbitt was a homemaker and widow of the late Clarence Ernest Nesbitt. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters and sons in law, Judy and Eddie Wilbanks of Jennings, Sharon and George Shelley of Summerfield; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd George Nesbitt.
A memorial service and committal will be held at a later date in Chattanooga, Tenn. Donations in memory of Mrs. Nesbitt may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, Georgia 31603.

Dorian Hale Howell
Dorian Hale Howell, 86, of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga. following a brief illness. Dorian was born on December 23, 1917 in Bellville, to the late Quinton D. and Winston Johns Howell. He was a retired truck driver and farmer. Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Wynn Howell and son Wade Howell.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Harrell and Evelyn Howell of Enterprise, AL.; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bryan Rowe of Jennings; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Howell of Jennings; brother, Marvin Howell, California; sister, Hortense Brown, Lake Panasoffkee; five grandchildren, Corey Wade Howell, Victoria Lynne Howell, Daniel Dorian Howell, Victor Harrell Howell and Dorian Wade Rowe; one great grandchild, Anthony Scott Howell.
Funeral servidces were held Saturday, April 24 at New Hope Baptist church with Pastor Jeff Cordero officiating.
Pallbearers were: R. B. Davis, Lawrence Wynn, Delmer Smith, Wendell Wynn, Don Higginbotham, Devin Higginbotham and Laurent Giambalvo. Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. William Nijem and Wilmer Deas.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
