Sharon Graham
Sharon Graham, 57, of O’Brien, passed away Tuesday, June 8, in Suwannee Health Care Center, Live Oak after a long illness. The Bellefontaine, Ohio native moved to O’Brien from Dowling Park, two years ago was a licensed practical nurse at the Good Samaritan Center, Dowling Park for thirteen years and was a Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter: Jo Ann Fike, Live Oak; two sons, Glen McIntyre, Live Oak and Terry Graham, O’Brien; five sisters, Betty and Ruth Nichol, both of Ohio, Jean Brown of Branford, Carolyn Cheevers, Texas and Joan Welsh, McAlpin; seven brothers: Ray, Let, and Ralph Norton all of Fort Lauderdale, Bill and Phillip Norton both of O’Brien, Bob Norton, Key Largo and Larry Norton, Ohio; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12 at First Baptist Church of Branford with Rev. Bryan Jones officiating.
Daniels Funeral Home of Branford was in charge of all arrangements.
Wayne L. Hayes
Wayne L. Hayes, 83, of O’Brien passed away Tuesday, June 8 at his residence. Pastor Hayes was born in Gamaliel, Arkansas, resided in West Palms, MO until 1992 and then moved to O’Brien area. He was an Assembly of God Pastor for fifty years, and founding pastor of Pomona Assembly of God Church, Pomona, Missouri.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Hayes O’Brien; one daughter, Carol Bybee, Albert Lea, MN; two sons, Glen Hayes of O’Brien, and Pastor Lynn Hayes of Burnsville, MN; five sisters, Laura Downing, Pansy Callahan and Betty Jo McGoldrick, all of West Plains, MO, Janis Grisham, Dora, MO and Inez Cotter, Mackinaw, IL; three brothers, Jimmy Hayes, Caulfield, MO, Bobby Hayes, Ironton, MO and Bernie “Junior” Hayes, Marysville, WA; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cleta Faye Hayes, and one grandchild, Douglas Hayes.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 11, at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Branford with Pastor Charles Bristle and Pastor Lynn Hayes officiating. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15 in Howell Memorial Park in Pomona, Missouri.

Florence Hill Buchanan Kent
Florence Hill Buchanan Kent, 87, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2004 in Lafayette Health Care Center, Mayo after a long illness.
The Hatch Bend native was born April 25, 1917. She was a nursing assistant with Sunland Training Center for 12 years; a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church; and was well known throughout the community for her dedicated services and kind deeds to everyone.
Mrs. Kent was survived by her husband, Edwin C. Kent of Branford; two daughters, Karen (Buddy) Horner, Gainesville and Shirley (Colin) Williams of High Springs and a step daughter in law Imogene Kent of Branford; two sons, William (Edye) Buchanan, White Springs and Harvey (Gail) Buchanan of Branford and a step son, Billy Kent of Jacksonville. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Kent was pre deceased by her first husband Walter Buchanan and a step son James Kent.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 16, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Paran Baptist Church, with Rev. Ed Wimberley and Terry Cranford officiating.
Interment followed in Maypop Cemetery. In lieu of flowers make contributions to Mt. Paran Baptist Church, 163 S. E. Drake Lane, Branford, Fl. 32008 or to Alzheimer’s Treatment and Research Center, Ramsey Foundation 640 Jackson Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55101-9021.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 15, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

R. T. Vaughn
R. T. Vaughn, 81, of Branford, passed away Monday, June 7, in the Lake City Medical Center after a long illness. The Bell native moved to Branford in 1979 from Newberry, was a truck driver and a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Branford.
Survivors include his wife, Etta Mae Vaughn of Branford; one daughter, Glenda Downing of Cross City; five sisters, Sylvella Clark of Chiefland, Corrine Tripp of Ashburn, Ga., Mary Shuman, Ellen Marsh and Pearlie Clark all of Branford; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 11 at Landmark Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Harrelson officiating. Interment followed in Wayfair Cemetery in Bell.
