Shirley Jeanne Deringer

Shirley Jeanne Deringer, 77, passed away Friday, July 23 at her home following an extended illness.



The Miami native was born April 5, 1927, graduated from Miami High School and moved to the Branford area from Miami in 1977. Mrs. Deringer was a homemaker; member of the Branford Woman’s Club; Branford Road Runners Camping Club; and the Branford First Baptist Church where she was a choir member for more than 20 years.



She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put others needs before her own. She will be missed and will remain in our hearts forever, according to her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Edward Deringer of Branford; one daughter, Marcia McAdams of Lake City; two sons, Don Deringer of Long Beach, CA and David Deringer of Branford; two brothers, Dr. Albert Gammage of Arlington, TX and Bruce Gammage of Miami. Four grandchildren, Jonathon, Matthew, Alicia, David Paul and two great grandchildren also survive.



Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 28 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Branford with Rev. Bryan Jones officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.



Memorial maybe made to Hospice of Suwannee Valley 168 SW Florida Gateway Drive, Lake City, Fl, 32024. or to First Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 853, Branford, Florida 32008.



Daniels Funeral Homes Inc. of Branford was in charge of all arrangements.



Vida Mae Durden



Vida Mae Durden, 86, of Bell died July 21. She lived in Gilchrist county for the past 68 years and was a homemaker.



Watson Funeral Home of Trenton was in charge of arrangements.



Richard Sr. Eddy



Richard Eddy Sr. of McAlpin passed away Saturday, July 24 in the Lake City Medical Center in Lake City.
