Brenda Bembry Kohout



Brenda Bembry Kohout, age 47, of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2005, at Shands of Jacksonville, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Brenda was born December 29, 1957, to the late Henry and Ocilla Bembry. She grew up in Hamilton County and was in the 1975 graduation class at Hamilton County High School. She later graduated from the University of Nebraska and worked for 20 years in the commercial lending department in the banking industry and was a member at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska. She is remembered by her family as a beautiful and loving person and wonderful wife, mother and sister.

Survivors include her husband, James Kohout of Bellevue; four children: Justin and Ashley Lawson both of Bellevue, and Katie and Amy Kohout of Parkville, Missouri; one brother, Lenord Bembry (Susan) of Greenville, Florida; one sister, Linda Lillibridge (Jim) of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister-in-law, Mary Bembry of Jasper, Florida; and her step-mother, Sara Ruth Bembry of Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 22, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Jasper with Reverend Steve McHargue officiating, assisted by Reverend Wendell Hill and Dr. Bill Floyd. Mrs. Vonnie Wood sang three songs accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Judy Thomason. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 1132 Fairfax, VA 22038-1132.

Louis Lee



Louis Lee, age 91, of North Haledon, New Jersey, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2005. Mr. Lee was born May 24, 1914, to the late Charlie and Sarah Lee of Jennings. He was the last surviving child of a family of eight. Mr. Lee was a paving contractor for over 50 years in Haledon and was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 59 and half years, Mildred Borduin Lee; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Kirk Braunius; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kathy Lee; and six grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at Oakland Memorial Funeral Home in Oakland, New Jersey. Interment followed in Memorial Park, Totowa Boro, New Jersey.

Pearsall Fouraker Sr.



Pearsall Fouraker Sr., age 79, of White Springs, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at his residence. Mr. Fouraker was born in Echols County, Georgia, on October 21, 1925, to the late Jesse and Mary Sarah Fouraker. He was a successful farmer and a member of Suwannee River Church of the Nazarene near White Springs. Mr. Fouraker was recently preceded in death by a sister, Amy Claxton.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Helen Fouraker of White Springs; two daughters: Bonnie Fouraker Adams (Lloyd) of Live Oak, Florida, and Brenda Fouraker Benitez (Joel) of White Springs; one son Pearsall Fouraker Jr. (Dana) of White Springs; one stepson, Robert Jackson Singhal Jr. (Joyce) of Pavo, Georgia; one brother, Franklin Fouraker (Betty) of White Springs; three sisters: Mary R. Harris (Ivey) and Avis L. Cason, all of White Spring and Lula L. Herring (Gerald) of Live Oak; one brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Claxton of White Springs; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Corey, Daniel, Erin, Victoria, Aaron and Alex.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Suwannee River Church of the Nazarene with Reverend William White and Reverend Dick Snellgrove officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.

Virginia Cummings



Virginia Cummings, age 59, of Jasper, Florida, and Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away Friday, September 23, 2005. Mrs. Cummings was born in Clinton, Tennessee, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, David Cummings; one brother, Charles Melvin Patterson of Clinton; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 25, 2005, in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Reverend Wendell Hill officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Gulfport, Mississippi.
