Lula Cox



Lula Cox, 87. passed away Monday, May 31 in Lafayette Health Care Center in Mayo.

The Suwannee County native was born March 23, 1917 and lived in the Branford/Gilchrist county area since 1936. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Advent Christian Church.



Mrs. Cox is survived by one son, A. L. Cox and wife Janie of Branford; three grandchildren, Barbara Jean Roberts, Shirley Ann Douglas, and Billie Jo Wawerczyk. Eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive.



Funeral services were held Thursday, June 3 at 10 a.m. in Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Dunn and Rev. Bruce Arnold officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove Advent Christian Church.



Daniels Funeral Home of Branford was in charge of all arrangements.
