Lucille Buckels Leslie

Lucille Buckels Leslie, 97 of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004 at Northwest Medical Center of Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born June 19, 1907 in Jasper, to Robert C. Buckels Sr. and Luanna Crews. She was married to Thomas Dale Leslie.



Mrs. Leslie moved to Arkansas in 1997. She taught high school math and history, and she was a coach. Mrs. Leslie enjoyed poetry, and traveling to Europe and the Orient. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jasper, Florida.



Survivors include her son Boyce Howell of Rogers, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Dale (Debbie) Howell of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Keith (Sherry) Howell of Phoenix, Arizona, and Evelyn Lynn (Steven) Rich of Rogers, Arkansas, and five great-grandsons.



A memorial service will be held at a later date in Jasper. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Florida Sheriff’s Boy’s Ranch or Shriner’s Cripple Children’s Hospital.
