Rossie Lee McDonald, age 76, of Jennings, Florida, passed away Monday, December 6, 2004, at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Statenville, Georgia, to the late Waver and Rebecca McDonald. He was preceded in death by two wives, Margarette and June.

Survivors include one son, Rossie Lee McDonald Jr. of Jennings; three daughters: Katherine McClelland of Lee, Florida; Susan Porter and Patricia Carlo, both of Valdosta, Georgia; one brother, Stanley McDonald of Jennings; one sister, Mary Austin of Jennings; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 8, at Jennings Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Haskell officiating. Interment followed in Carter Cemetery.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
