Suwannee Pony Express 4-H Club and Taylor 4H Renegade Club are sponsoring another six-show circuit of open horse shows again this year. Last year the shows were more streamlined, moved faster and finished on time. This year, the organizers hope to maintain their efficiency.

As of yet, no judges for these shows have been announced. The first show of this year’s circuit will be on Aug. 30 in Perry. The second show will be Sept. 20 in Live Oak. The third Nov. 15 in Live Oak. The fourth will be Dec. 13 in Perry. After the first of the year the next show will be Jan. 17 in Live Oak and the last show of the circuit will be held Feb. 21 in Live Oak.

There will be classes in halter, English, jumping, Western, gaited, reining, and speed events. Classes are divided up in age divisions for 8-12, 13-18 and adult riders. There will also be open classes for all riders. Points will be accumulated for all 4-H participants and high point awards will be presented at the end of the show season.

The Pony Express 4-H Club and the Perry Renegade 4-H Club are looking for sponsors. The shows will have programs and the clubs are selling ads for the programs. Class ads begin at just $15 running to full-page ads for $50 and up. For information and if you wish to help the 4-Hers by buying ad space you can write to Tri-County Open 4-H Show, Janet Sampson, 17790 96th Street, Live Oak, FL 32060.
