Katherine Ann McClelland, 36, Lee, was arrested July 18, by Lafayette County Deputy Geoff Condy. McClelland is charged with possession of cannabis.



According to Condy’s report, he stopped the 1993 gray four-door car, driven by McClelland for speeding on CR 53.



Condy said he asked the suspect if she had drugs. McClelland surrendered the drugs when Condy said he would call a female officer to come check for drugs on her.



Condy’s report states that McClelland told him she had bought the drugs in Mayo.
